Terms & Conditions
The straightforward rules for using Numerbyte's website and products.
Last updated June 10, 2026
Acceptance of terms
By accessing numerbyte.com or using any Numerbyte product — including PageHawk and Sourclip (the “Services”) — you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services. We may update these terms occasionally; continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Description of services
Numerbyte is an independent software practice that builds focused tools for individuals and small teams. PageHawk is a free Chrome extension that performs on-page SEO analysis directly in your browser. Sourclip is a Chrome extension and companion workspace that helps you capture, organize, and export research material, with optional Pro features including cloud sync. Features, pricing, and availability may change as the products evolve.
Acceptable use
When using the Services, you agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of our products, except where permitted by law.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on our infrastructure, including through automated scraping or denial-of-service attempts.
- Capture, store, or distribute content you don't have the right to use.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Services without our written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.
Intellectual property
All software, designs, branding, and content that make up Numerbyte’s products and website — including the Numerbyte, PageHawk, and Sourclip names and logos — are the property of Numerbyte and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Using the Services doesn’t grant you any ownership rights in our software, trademarks, or content. Any feedback or suggestions you send us may be used freely, without obligation to you.
User content
Sourclip lets you capture and organize content you choose — web pages, documents, notes, and prompts (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. You’re responsible for making sure you have the right to capture and store anything you save, and for complying with any copyright or licensing terms of the original source. We don’t claim ownership over your User Content and only access it as needed to provide the Service — for example, to sync it across your devices.
Third-party services
The Services may link to, integrate with, or rely on third-party platforms — including the Chrome Web Store, NotebookLM, websites you choose to capture content from, and payment processors. We don’t control these third parties and aren’t responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of any third-party service is governed by its own terms.
Disclaimer
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any analysis, score, or output — including PageHawk’s SEO scores or Sourclip’s exports — will be complete or accurate for your specific situation. You’re responsible for verifying anything important before relying on it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Numerbyte will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time as the Services evolve. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and communicate material changes where reasonably possible. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Numerbyte operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with those laws to the extent permitted.
